European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA)
The European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) represents the pharmaceutical industry operating in Europe. Through its direct membership of 33 national associations and 37 leading pharmaceutical companies, EFPIA is the voice on the EU scene of 1,900 companies committed to researching, developing and bringing to patients new medicines that will improve health and the quality of life around the world.
European Medicines Agency (EMA)
The European Medicines Agency is a decentralised agency of the European Union, located in London. The Agency is responsible for the scientific evaluation of medicines developed by pharmaceutical companies for use in the European Union.
European Disability Forum (EDF)
The European Disability Forum is an independent NGO that represents the interests of 80 million Europeans with disabilities.
European Patients' Forum (EPF)
EPF was founded in 2003 to be the umbrella organisation of pan-European patient organisations active in the field of European public health and health advocacy. EPF facilitates exchange of good practice and challenging of bad practices on patients’ rights, equitable access to treatment and care, and health-related quality of life between patient organisations at European level and at Member state level.
